Testimony to the NYC Council Contracts, Oversight & Investigations and Technology Committees On the City’s Technology Contracts and Conflicts of Interest

Citizens Union testified regarding Intro. 498, legislation that would strengthen conflict of interest vetting in the city’s technology contracting process. Citizens Union recommended clearer conflict of interest standards created specifically for contractors and subcontractors, advisory roles for oversight bodies, and balanced regulations that would not hinder small business participation.
