Joint Letter to Governor Cuomo and Leaders on Good Government and Ethics Reform in FY2020 Article VII Legislation
On March 21, 2019, Citizens Union and fellow watchdog groups submitted a letter to Governor Cuomo and other leaders to urge that Parts R, S and W of the Good Government and Ethics Reform Article VII Legislation (S1510/A2010) not be passed. The letter argues that these provisions would make advocacy more burdensome without sufficient benefit to providing a more transparent and ethical government.
