Executive Editor, Gotham Gazette
Ben Max is the executive editor of Gotham Gazette, a news publication of Citizens Union Foundation dedicated to accountability journalism covering New York government and politics. Before joining Gotham Gazette in 2014, Ben launched and ran Decide NYC, a comprehensive guide to the 2013 city elections, and worked in education for ten years, most of them as a high school history teacher. Ben earned a Bachelor’s degree from Trinity College and a Master’s degree from Tufts University.
